About Us
Vascular Interventional Radiology Queensland (VIRQ) is a new specialist vascular interventional radiology service founded by highly skilled and passionate radiologists who feel a service like this should be available to all patients, not just those in the city. All patients should be able to access minimally-invasive, imaging-guided treatments such as these and we are pleased to be able to provide this service to patients throughout Queensland.
VIRQ commenced operation at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital in March 2022, and we now practice in Brisbane, Ipswich and the Sunshine Coast. Our goal is to expand to other geographic locations across Queensland in the future.
